Today

At times i think back,
I think of the way things should've gone,

In the end all i had was today.

Then I realised,

A today well lived makes
Every yesterday a dream of happiness,
Every tomorrow a vision of hope,
So i fell forward,
Stopped blaming,
Stopped shaming,
Started to take up,

I have learnt alot from the subject of life,
I believe there are still more volumes to cover,
Everyday i sit alone,
Think of the tomorrow that I hope to achieve,
I seem to percieve,
I see myself succedding,
I see them clapping,
Looks like they finally stopped fapping,
The award is mine,
I cannot decline

That puts a smile on my face,
One no other emotion can replace,
I then begin to grind,
They will say you cant do it,
They will say you're crazy,
If you aren't aiming too high then you're aiming too low,
Your dream must be soo big,
That it scares others,
Don't be like the Fig,
maybe even with a wig
And not bear fruit.
Laying there destitue
In the end all I have is today.

I might be "crazy",
But i'll be rich,
It's lonely at the top,
But you eat better,
By rich I don't mean what you think,
I'm not aiming for material possessions,
I'm aiming for happiness,
Joy of the heart.
