I watched you as you walked out of my life
It took everything left in me
and I tried to keep it together that night
But everything about that moment
just didn't seem right
It's wasn't right at all
But my pride let you go
And my pride at this very moment let me alone
As I watched my heart being ripped from my chest
And that was the moment when I realized
What little residual of love I had died
