Rescue me
Lost at sea, don't know what to do? Ships been wrecked, no sign of the crew. I'm alone,
rough water surrounds me
there is not a hint of rescue.
Looking around there is no land on the horizon
I'm all alone, and I fear this will be my end.
I tread in these shark filled water,
my legs are getting weak.
I am trying to hold on, I'm exhausted but I can't fall asleep!
I find that its getting harder.
Now I begin to sink into the dark blue water.
First time, I go down, I fight to break through the waves
Second time, I go down, I struggle harder, I try to scream out, but my lungs are filling quickly with water.
Will this be my grave?
Just as I begin sink for the third and final time, I scream out "Jesus!"
Just as the sea engulfs me into what will be a deep dark sleep. A beam of light shines from the sky and rest overtop of me, within the light is a voice, that resonates with such authority, commanding the raging sea to "Be still!" and it stops immediately!
In one fail swoop, the water opens up and ejects me, as if it ate something that was upsetting. I sail through the sky and land in my saviors arms, safely. I pass out from sheer and utter exhaustion. When I regain consciousness, I am in a state of confusion, How did I get in a nurses station? How did I get here? I asked abruptly, "the last thing I remember was being rescued from the sea. Who was it that came to aide me, the Coast guard, Marines , or maybe the Navy? The Doctor turned and said no to all three. It was a lonely fisherman who delivered you to me. But before he left he whispered something to you, in your ear. "Yes" I exclaimed "I remember it quiet clear." He said " I will never forsake thee, and I will always be here!"
