Winter I fooled you

Winter I fooled you...

I did the dishes and dodged you.
I opened the windows.
Kept a positive view.

Vantage points to discover
....got from up under those covers.

Secrets weren't told
though the leaves did fall.

I dodged your cold touch
...left them negative thoughts.

Laughed at your distant smell
...didn't slide on slippery ground.

Healed and sheltered,
read up and mustered

Boldness tells me,

"Winter, I fooled You!"
