Maybe one day
And sometimes I miss you
But I got my new man sitting next to me
And I tell him "I love you" at all the right moments
But still I see you in my head questioning the the color of the sky
And he too brings me roses
But instead he tells me not to get sad when they die.
And he holds my hand tight while he drives me home
But never once pushes me away when he's feeling light
And he looks at me with so much feeling, with so much care
But now I'm scared that the months will fly, only to find out again, another lie.
And maybe one day you'll stop replaying in my head
But maybe one day I'll start loving him instead.
But I got my new man sitting next to me

But still I see you in my head questioning the the color of the sky

But maybe one day I'll start loving him instead.
