Thrill Me She Said

Thrill me she said,
to the light of the moon
from the song of a god
cellos dear father Neptune,

Thrill me she said,
bembe 10 thousand daemons
lost in the forest’s
enchantment and screaming,

Thrill me she said,
long kiss me in breezes,
or put a knife in my adroitness
I roll with the seasons,

Thrill me she said,
for I’m lucky to see,
that the best
will never let the worst in me be.
