Hopelessly In Love
My heart explodes, like a grenade, fragments spring through the air,
So much love it doth bare,
My cup overflows as I drink you into my skin, as if you are a perfume, I breathe in your scent.
You shadow my shadow every step we take. You move and I glide along with you, as if floating on airs.
My legs dance to your beat.
Though My heart stops, pauses, and I stand frozen,
I feel like I am hopelessly falling.
As if sinking into the waves of the sea,
I sink into your arms and they surround me in your warmth.
Though I get lost in your eyes, your gentle stare,
Somehow I find myself there.
Though I'm slipping,
Somehow you hold me to you.
