Silhouettes
The moon sets heavy in the sky as the princess's tears fell through the castles cracked floor pouring down unto the spot in which I stood frozen looking at your silhouette dancing across the sky, casting its reflection in the brightly lit water.
An ache in my chest shakes me from my imagination and you stand before me, an angel without wings, the glow of lanterns seemed to illuminate off your skin bouncing fireflies across my eyes,
You took my hands in yours and it was as if lightning struck me ten thousand times, as I stood lips parted in shock.
Your rough hands, the hands of a man that worked way to hard put the strength back within me, for you are my strength and without you I grow weak, without you I am lost, wandering paths in search of my heart.
You take me in your arms and I drink up, though I know no sip, no cup, no glass, no way I could ever get enough.
As if summoned by some unseen wizard or God, the princess's eyes run dry,as we soak through each other, as your storm, you run through my veins. Our two silhouettes throw lightning bolts across the sky casting a mural of two bodies dancing a lovers waltz, until the moon fades from the sky and the sun beams glisten our souls.
