She adjusted her flamboyant personality to meet with societies premise,
Agreeing with what they perceived.
Her ready and willing, became cautious contempt. Her ease and confidence pulled away at the seams, made to believe her dignity fell on their demands.
A steady hand, became a shaking arthritic limb, writing what they wanted to read, conforming to their needs.
They tell her don't be greedy give to the needy, but what will she give when theirs nothing real left?

I find myself writing on this subject a great deal lately and I don't know whether it is my subconscious trying to communicate that I have been editing myself or my consciousness telling me that I need some reflection, reading this is like deja vu of my ongoing struggle.

I like this write, iam not one to follow conformity so this I had to read. I believe in individuality and if your read one of my writes which is called what I choose to believe it is about conformity and individuality. Cool ending.

On another site I was judged for writing provocative pieces. They wanted me to tone down my writing to suit their needs, this was my response. Thank you!
