Myself Moments

Give me, give me, give me a moment,
Give me a moment to myself.
Life is busy, a little bit rushed,
And I need a myself moment.

I need to step off the road,
Perch on a country drystone wall
And have a smoke, though I don’t.
I need to cliché,
To watch the world go by
And wonder where I was.

Don’t get me wrong. I cliché:
A need for speed is nice.
Ordinary days I move so fast that I cannot touch the floor
And the freedom’s in the flight.

But I cliché: once in a while,
Let me pause, and take
A minor myself moment,
And I won’t be walled for long.

Take a myself moment.
Cliché: sit back, relax,
Smoke and smile and sit on the wall
And just breathe,
Breathe,
Breathe for just a little while.
