..And it will.be looked back on...in the future, like McCarthyism...Crow laws...will be looked back as disgraceful behavior championed by fear of the unknown. Makes me dad.

Thank you, jen. Sorry i haven't been around too much lately. work, illness, night school, etc.
This guy is as pure a demagogue as I have ever seen in the United States in my lifetime. You hear about the rise of demagogues in other countries. You read about them in history books. But this is scaring the bejesus outta me. You heard the latest? He wants to loosen libel laws to make it easier to sue newspapers. One of the first things a demagogue will do is shut down free speech. Hitler did it when he shuddered newspapers he deemed offensive, primarily communist-run papers. Demagogues primary tool is emotion, not reason. Their statements can not stand up to logic, which is why they shut down free speech. I could go on and on. #NeverTrump

He'll need, i believe, 70% of the white vote to win (read that in 3 diff articles). no one has ever done that. Ever Ronald Reagan only had, I think, 58%. Still, it is fascinating to watch this occur in the United States. Read in history books how it happened in europe in the 1920s and 1930s, and in south america in the 1970s.
