Solitude
Looking at the sky
I see a thousand stars
Lighting up the world
But i still can't help feeling
Like it's in the darkness
Where i belong
I'm never going to
Be one of those with
Everything that never
Do anything i'd burn in the sunlight
I belong to the night
And even thought it
Fills me with sadness, i know
That silence and sorrow
Will be my only companions
In this life
Never needed anything
Never wanted anything
Love cuts like a knife
Hate burns like a fire
There's nothing i desire
Nothing i live for
Embracing this feeling
Of beautiful solitude
And sweet emptiness
I fall into myself
To never awake

It needs a little tidy up, but I reckon it will be okay when that's done. First of all, get rid of the line breaks, so it's easier to follow. The second stanza needs rewording in order to flow and make sense. The fourth stanza is a little cliched. 'Love cuts like a knife' is the main culprit. Dress it up, play around with it. Anyhow, I look forward to reading what you do with it.
