Far from the shore there's a great beast stirring
His slumber disturbed by a million cries
The trenches tremble across the ocean
Harrowing the skies when daylight truly dies

A doom foretold
In scribes untold

Cthulhu waits not yet dead but dreaming
Of a smorgasbord of human tissues
To feast on delicate delicacies
Awash in slime and blood, primordial drool

A doom unfolds
That bards foretold

Deathspawn, Hellbound
From a time of turbulent waters
Comes a scene of visceral slaughter
On a crimson tide

Old God, Awake
Lost in time and the whiff of incense
Comes a scene of dementia laments
On a crimson tide

The chorus of pounding drums
Penetrate the inky black
A chanting growing louder

"Ia, Ia, Cthulhu, fltagn!
Ia, Ia, Cthulhu, fltagn!"

The great beast awakens!

"Cold was my tomb
Briny and dark
But I have heard your cries
In the abyss
I have come
To destroy the world
Of man and false icons!"

Old God, Awake
Lost in time and the whiff of incense
Comes a scene of dementia laments
On a crimson tide

Deathspawn, Hellbound
From a time of turbulent waters
Comes a scene of visceral slaughter
On a crimson tide
