Towers and walls
the towers of mine
taller than any pine
the walls
too high for one to fall
the guards that make their rounds
up and down
all of this to protect
one fragile paint
my heart so weak
if it broke
it would tear me apart
and yet it seems that suddenly
you’ve broken down the walls
caused the towers to crumble
and sent all the guards away
so I don't care what they say
I love you and me this way
