Wrong, But Invincible

Everything turned dark and black.
Spirits rose from their graves,
Haunting me,
Taunting me.
The ice cold ground laughed
Evilly at me while I ran and ran.
The trees extending their arm-like
Roots and vines.
Trying to capture me.
Lost souls flew all around me
Like a sworm of flies.
"Come, follow us."
They try to persuade me.
I just shout and keep running.
Hoping there's an end to this nonsense.
I could see the wind.
With a grimace on it's face
It swirrled all around me.
Then violently whipped me to the ground.
I struggled, trying to get up
As a tree abducted me.
Wrapping me tight,
In it's "arms"
With no sign of liberalization for me.
It swung me around brusquely.
Then threw me up against a door
Made of lumber-wood.
The door creaked open.
Someone was siting on a throne,
Their back facing me.
They turned around,
I saw their face.
Your face.
"I've done all of this.
It was me the whole time."
You informed me.
I was astonished.
I couldnt believe my eyes or ears.
I didnt know WHAT to believe.
I shouldve and wouldve been furious.
If it were anyone but you.
"But why?"
I asked, confused.
"Because I love you."
You reply.

You showed me how this love is wrong.
But invincible. <3
