Broken Princess
Broken Princess
She is so broken,
yet so beautiful in her brokenness,
like a snowflake of acid rain,
unique and altered,
attractive destructive,
eating away at all that she touches,
as she melts upon where she rest,
her acidic tones eroding the flesh,
a princess,
of her own heart,
both captor and creator,
she keeps her heart locked away,
deep within the cold stone walls of yesterdays,
she is alone,
a victim of her own insecurities,
she is the brightest Light ever created,
but all she sees is the darkness of the shadow she’s created,
so she stares,
deep into the darkest depths of her cast shadows,
from her castle’s Turret,
feeding the ferocious crocodiles in her flooding Moat,
from the Wall Walk,
she tosses them bits and pieces of herself,
and even when the nicest knight approaches,
as a friend,
she still refuses to lower the Drawbridge,
or turn the gates open,
she is so broken,
yet so beautiful in her brokenness,
perfectly broken,
crooked fixed,
erratic and ecstatic,
when she attacks that’s it,
so don’t provoke her,
even when you quote her,
for she is more than just a poet,
she is more than just a little girl,
she is the manifestation of all of us,
and she is as alive as all of us,
she calls to us,
to come forward,
to admit our sins,
to confess our depressions,
to hang our dirty laundry out to dry,
we are all messed up,
let’s confess up,
we are all damaged goods,
we are all stained,
we are all on this lonely road,
alone with only our pain,
to keep us company,
and eventually,
each one of us will pass,
but for now,
we are here,
so let us read each other’s poetry,
so hopefully we can heal,
kneel,
before her,
she is upon her throne,
for she is a princess,
even if she is without a home,
so light the incense,
this is all intense,
wrote an ode to the princess,
of darkness no intent,
only words,
upon words,
only feelings,
upon feelings,
only hurt,
upon hurt,
so hopefully,
we can have healing,
yes we’ve seen things,
but let’s let the passed past pass,
let us light up the future,
for forever is exactly how long we will last,
abstract,
sure,
all lines blur,
but nothing is exact,
so let the abstract occur,
I will not cave,
even when it hurts,
not even from this loss,
of life that’s occurred that’s for sure,
so close the door,
draw up the drawbridge,
retreat back to your Turret of regret,
trust no one wish for nothing at least not yet,
forget,
their mind games,
you’ve warned yourself so don’t be fooled,
and as the darkness comes again,
you have that sinking feeling that we’re all screwed,
true,
and false,
see,
to ever side there is an opposite,
and opposites attract,
to all of this,
there is a contrast to every side,
to have darkness you must have light,
you must be broken,
before you can be fixed,
so I guess what else can I say,
to such a Broken Princess,
other then good luck and good day,
I hope you find your way,
this is Love this is War,
this is Peace this is Hate,
so watch,
as the games begin,
and yes this shall continue,
but for now this is The End.
