Tommorow is washed away

In the past I was payed
Its clouding over
in this final masquerade

I'm standing at the edge,
I'm giving it time

I'm demanding a pledge
To be delivering rhyme
•
I usually do sow
what I reap

In this life that's
short but sweet
•
I will reward a new beat..
One born from a fire
Yet undestroyed by heat
•
the fire burns stronger

I no longer belong here
•

I need to stop being
Trapped in the past

That's behind me &
I shouldn't look at
The shadows i cast

I should always be
Staring at the light
In front of me

I must face true reality
And never run away
