I am merely a woman
What can I say to you and know that you would believe me?
That you are the person I was born to be with,
the person I was made to love,
the person I live for.
How can I explain so you will know that you are the reflection of my heart?
That in the shelter of each day you are the only one on my mind,
that I live spenting my life trying to understand your heart
that you are the air that I breath.
How can I make you understand that you are a part of me?
That my love for you was created when my first DNA
was laid down in delicate spirals,
weaving you into my flesh.
What can I say so that you might understand that I love you?
That the dread in a woman’s heart is simple,
that the love in a woman’s heart is palpable,
that I am merely a woman...

Jip, that they do. Yet somehow I think that it gives us (women) depth that few people and almost no man have...sure there is bad apples on both sides but it is usually we as women who live through it all this deeply...
