I came and read this when first you posted it, I confess it. And then, I went away, quietly, again. I came once again and read it and stole away once more. Now, here I am a third time. So, I say to you these things, luv:

This is an absolutely agonizing piece. And, further, doggone your blasted hide, tis beyond lucent.

You know, my aunt said to me once when I told her of a teacher at school going on and on about his detestation for the state of marriage and how he'd never marry again after his divorce - how evil his ex-wife was, et cetera, that the ones who said that were the ones to marry again the fastest. I listened to her words with no small degree of skepticism (I was in high school, after all, and quite young). Within the year, he had remarried and was blissfully content. I believe they are still married to this day.

The ending of your poem reminds me of this teacher and his adamance, luv. ;-p
