Their vision of the world
He finds it strange
He truly does
Their vision of black and white
So stark
So simple
He fears he cannot hope to understand them
For his mind is awash in chaos
And filled with visions of grey
Oh how he wishes to see like them
To know the line between right and wrong
But the mind would not allow
And his thoughts are plagued with doubts
His path is unclear
And he can’t but stumble his way
Through his world of grey
He finds it strange
He truly does
Their vision of black and white
So stark
So simple
He fears he cannot hope to understand them
For his mind is awash in chaos
And filled with visions of grey
Oh how he wishes to see like them
To know the line between right and wrong
But the mind would not allow
And his thoughts are plagued with doubts
His path is unclear
And he can’t but stumble his way
Through his world of grey
