Truthful Lie
Tell me the truth, better yet, tell me a lie...lie and make it seem true.
Have me in ohhh's and ahhh's from the sight of your beauty.
Have me in that feeling of love...that feeling of warmth and support that only comes from the one,
the only one that can make someone drop to their knees and thank the heavens for their existence.
Now, tell me the that words I cherish to hear, the three words that brought men to war,
that drove men to worship the steps you take...the air you breath...the sounds you make.
Tell me the truth, no better yet, lie to me and make my world seem complete.
Make it seem like no matter what I do or what you do, that our fate is to be molded into one.
That your heart will ache when mine breaks...that I will have your love for no other to take.
Now lie to me, lie to me and lie to me, lie and lie and lie, so that I feel safe.
Safe enough to want what I want and love you the way I want.
Lie to me for goodness sake, don't wait until daybreak, or nightfall...lie to me now.
SO, that my doubts and insecurities can cease to exist, to make my world bright and bubbly.
Instead of this dark and meaningless existences.
So, tell me a truthful lie about our love and nothing else.
