The happiness you seek
isn’t here only death and
darkness and despair in
the air, don’t beg me I do
not care, you cries your
pleas are just winds they
blow through the trees and
mean nothing to me, go find
what makes you happy but

I love the premise of this in that happiness cannot be found in another. It's difficult enough for us to stay afloat of the heavy negativity here on earth at times. Reminders of our own happiness are straws to be grasped at. The weight of another's is certainly not something I can bear. Thank you for the read and Happy Christmas!
