Thin Walls
I see you every day
But you don’t see me
And I hear you
Every night
Through these thin walls
I hear you murmur
Words of love
I hear you sigh, and moan
The rhythm of your loving
Torments me with images
Of you, locked in his
Arms, your legs around
His hips. And then you
Cry out in climax
You do not love me now
You said you did.
You laughed and sighed
And cried out with me
And held me in your arms
Murmured words of love
Now you do the same with
Someone else leaving
Me to cry out in
Loneliness.
But you don’t see me
And I hear you
Every night
Through these thin walls
I hear you murmur
Words of love
I hear you sigh, and moan
The rhythm of your loving
Torments me with images
Of you, locked in his
Arms, your legs around
His hips. And then you
Cry out in climax
You do not love me now
You said you did.
You laughed and sighed
And cried out with me
And held me in your arms
Murmured words of love
Now you do the same with
Someone else leaving
Me to cry out in
Loneliness.
