Georgia

It's a rainy night on midnight train
Her voice is calling my name
It's been a while since I saw her smile
Without her I'm living in exile

I'm back on the road, just me and boo
Tonight the lights went out, I hope to make through
I miss her southern charm and the comfort in her arms
When I'm in Rome, it my home away from home

She's my Georgia
She's always on my mind
I like it when I cross her state line
She's sweet as a peach in the summertime
She's a rose that the Cherokee left behind
She's my Georgia
Always on my mind

I like her mountains, l like the view
And so will you
I like to go down on her beach; it's more than the salt and sand
I like to meet her in the middle, under an old pine
It's like her heart is in mine
I like sunshine in her eyes, the moonshine on her lips
Life without her would be an eclipse

She's my Georgia
She's always on my mind
I like it when I cross her state line
She's sweet as a peach in the summertime
She's a rose that the Cherokee left behind
She's my Georgia
(Always on my mind)
She's my Georgia
(That I find)
She's my Georgia
(Until the end of time)
