Within Your Words I find a Wanton Joy
(a gen-x sonnet)
Within your words I find a wanton joy,
Where I could finally play without a care,
There you could use my body as your toy,
With playing finally make it full aware.
I really never played, though thought I did,
But that was just some silly children’s game.
So fully play with me and I would bid,
That you would let me fully do the same.
So we would play and play ‘til we were done,
And then we’d finally sweaty come apart.
Though spent we’d find a way to still have fun.
By playful stroking one another’s heart.
So if you feel the same, come play with me.
And show me how true playful love can be.
