the girl who always knows what im thinking
cause she thinks the same way
the girl who is there by my side
when i have a bad day
the one i know can make me smile
just by seeing one on her face
the one that i can have the best time with
when we're in the same place
the girl who i laugh with
just cause we want to
the girl who makes up my other half
and yes that is completely true
the one who knows me without a doubt
the one that i could not live without
the girl i love so much with my heart
the girl who was my best friend from the start

I don't know whether or not you'll take this as a compliment but this reminds me so much of Taylor Swift songs. Just a feeling I get. It could very easily be turned into lyrics and there's a strong emotional connection formed with the reader.
