Sailor
There was once a Sailor
Who led a crew into the seas
But now he seems to have been lost
In his whims and fancies.
A sailor, brave as he could be
A spectacle in the eyes of everyone
With his team, islands of island he could besiege
Oh Sailor, where art thee?
Where is your sense of spirit?
What happened to you
Please tell me
"I am just a sailor
adjusting my parrot hat and my handle hook
My ship has wrecked into pieces
and pirates have taken order
They will torture me,
They will sting me with curses
They will dismiss me from all the duties,
I have been entrusted with
A sailor, a voyager, I will not be called
For the pirates have robbed me of my very charm
I will be thrown into the ocean of pity
I might be rescued but released from my only duty
I might wish to stay,
give up my integrity
And I might fall in love
With a gypsy in her twenties
Or I might choose to protest
Stand ground on what I think is firm
And I might will for freedom
Standing on shaken grounds
I know I will be killed
If I go astray
And my corps will be washed
Like the pebbles at bay
Ill just be a sailor
A sailor lost in cause
Who could not manage a crew
In the battle of pride who is lost
If I let them take my life,
I will just be a lost voice
If I succumb to stay aboard
I will lose whatever I strived for
My voice is echoing inside my head
My personality is split into two
I cannot favour one or distinguish between the two
I cannot make an informed decision
Insanity is my only solution. "
Saying this the sailor bid me goodbye
Goodbye dear sailor
You might look like a coward
But you couldn't have been braver
Who led a crew into the seas
But now he seems to have been lost
In his whims and fancies.
A sailor, brave as he could be
A spectacle in the eyes of everyone
With his team, islands of island he could besiege
