I judge my relationships by the amount of poetry I can construct within them    
by the amount of inspiration we exude betwixt our interactions    
as long as the ends justify the means  
you are means to an art    
no. you are means to a start    
and I don't think the word muse adequately expresses what you actually do.  
I say this not with civility    
a bit of gratitude. Maybe.    
the kind that grows  
gradually as gravity pulls me into something new  
the further I get the more I see how much you truly inspired me
Those lessons you left for me now show themselves in the form of lesions
Faulty wires misfire between connection
You are no longer means to an art means to a start
you have become means to the obscene
a catalyst to absurd words
that cant help but to be heard
I don't want you
but I will still use you
to move through anything that attempts to shade the fire you stoked

Blaze so fucking bright
You nervous plague
You beautiful experience
 I wouldn't have this any other way
So no,
 I don't think the word muse adequately expresses what you actually do  
but for lack of a better word
that's the word I choose to use.
