Conversations with God
If I believe, but still run wild,
am I free, to call myself your child?
If I persist in living this way,
could I wake up late one afternoon to find you far away? (I'd better stop to...)
Chorus:
Thank you for my nothing.
You make it something new.
It's getting closer now.
You make it clearer now it's true.
And if I run away against your will,
can you drag my ass back up Calvary's hill?
Could you rub my face in the blood I've spilled,
and say, "Look at me, my hands and my feet, they still bleed for you."?
Chorus
Have I told you today, I love you?
Have I told you today, I care?
Have I told you today, I'll follow,
if you'll lead me out of here.
