Memories

Memories

I think about, you, while I'm driving,
Memories that make me smile.
Your beautiful face, keeps me sane,
On these dark and lonely miles.

I think about a time not long ago,
When I woke and watched you sleep.
I began to cry uncontrollably,
Because you gave me, your heart, to keep.

It doesn't matter where I go,
You are always in my heart.
No matter how far I travel,
Our love will never be apart.

The first time that I met you,
I stared into your eyes.
The first time, I kissed, those sweet lips,
My heart began to fill inside.

You brought me to my knees,
With your love so pure and strong.
And here in your loving arms,
Is right  where I belong.

So I step on the pedal,
And get this truck up to 82.
In a few more days, I'll be back home,
To make more, memories, with you.
