To Be Untouched
How disappointing,
an unfulfilled lust.
How misleading,
a fire-filled touch.
When there is no way,
to change all that has come to day.
A love story unlike most,
send a prayer to the Holy Ghost.
Fairy tales with lost endings,
simple girls without blessing.
Where does the meaning lie,
in this thrown together piece?
Once a love full of life,
is left tattered throughout Facebook chats.
No longer is time spent together,
although it is not our fault.
But how badly does it hurt,
to be untouched.

The reference to Facebook was so unexpected. The first part of the poem, especially with Eagles on my mind, made me think of "Pretty Maids All In A Row"
