Murder is natural

is natural
contrary to popular belief

Animals kill other animals
to thrive
and more importantly survive

If a shark murders a seal for food
we call it hunting
If two bucks fight and end up killing each other
we call it mating
The right to mate anyway mate

But with we the humans
things get more complicated
confusing
politically incorrect
and expensive
A human kills a human
we yell "murder"
be it 2nd degree or first degree
and a favourite man slaughter

Now take a stroll into our brains
Fight or Flight
two very strong and old instincts

It's why we sometimes leave the safety off
pretend to sneeze to push a person into an oncoming train
pick up the knife and test how truly sharp it is using flesh
A temptation to kill
pleasure of the flesh
Blood Lust

The best bit about murder
is probably how it is hidden in war
in crime
in self defense
in riots
in strikes
in accidents
or traditions
and lastly culture


It can not be avoided
because it is natural instinct
making murder natural
