can you look me
in the eyes and tell me that
you love me
that im the one for you
that the darkest of your days was before me
maybe im the sunshine
perhaps im the moon on the darkest night
shed light on your nightmares
make things a little better
ill wrap you in my arms and protect you
show you that there is beauty in the night to
your heart will forever be safe in my palms
