Falling

I wish you had just ripped my heart out,
Instead of shattering it to a million pieces.
I put all of my trust in you.
Look where that got me.
As I stand at the top of this 30 story building,
Im up approximately 300 ft high.
The wind is rustling in and out through my ears.
The clouds are darkening and hovering over me.
I take a step foward and Im now at the edge.
The people that are walking below me,
Talking on their phones,
Just might witness a death today.
I hear the hoarse caws of the crows
Flying above and around me.
I put one foot over the ledge,
Letting it dangle there.
I'm ready to let my body descend.
My pulse speeds up.
I close my eyes and memories flash through my mind.
Memories of you.
The first time I saw you,
When I had no intentions of even talking to you.
To the time I had realized you were so important to me.
When you changed my life around.
So many moments with you,
So wonderful.
Up until the last time I had seen you.
When you said to me
"We are both going to have to move on at some point."
But I cant and I wont.
I vowed to myself that I will never live without you.
I remembered why I as here.
I opened my eyes and I was. . .
Falling.

The wind was whipping my hair everywhere.
I was falling rapidly. 
I gently closed my eyes, no force.
I was swimming in a pool of more memories.
When I opened my eyes,
The end was almost near.
Right before I hit the concrete ground,
I woke up.
My hands all sweaty, my heart rate extreme.
I realized it was only a dream.
