Last dance

Last Dance
09 NOVEMBER 2015, 08:35 PM
From the first time that I saw you,
My heart already knew.
Every time I kissed your lips,
The love inside me grew.

We'd dance until the morning light,
Forgetting time and space.
Held inside your loving arms,
I take my proper place.

I could live a thousand lives,
And, in each, I'd search for thee.
Our spirits bound together,
Your, true love, was meant for me.

You had to go and leave too soon,
My heart, broke in two.
No other person, place or thing,
Can mend it like you do.

When my time, on earth is done,
I'll search, for your, lost soul.
I'll wrap my arms, again in yours,
Forever, To be whole.

I lift your head to kiss your lips,
I'll never miss the chance.
I'll take you by the hand, my love,
And finish our last Dance.
