WW2W
Look at them all,
lonely beings,
hopelessly believing
in the promise
of a better tomorrow…
Look at all those blank faces
painted with smiles
as they cross each other
on their way to their cages -
their everyday share of
this elaborate servitude.
They were all taken
from the darkness
guided by blinding light,
cuffed with norms
that benefit only a few.
Sedated, they are
with shallow happiness
from fleeting triumphs
on their way
to inevitable failure!
Behold, this mass
of lively puppets -
a marching army of
modern slaves.!
