If We Could Tell You
If these walls could talk
they'd echo screams
of murdered stars
and broken dreams.
If these halls could speak
they'd only groan.
While corners sang
of my time
alone.
The floors would creak,
then hold back cries
while the windows
watched
with curtained eyes.
This house,
once big,
would feel
so small.
If it had ears
to hear
at all.
they'd echo screams
of murdered stars
and broken dreams.
If these halls could speak
they'd only groan.
While corners sang
of my time
alone.
The floors would creak,
then hold back cries
while the windows
watched
with curtained eyes.
This house,
once big,
would feel
so small.
If it had ears
to hear
at all.
