Luminous

Early the autumn sun sets
As if persued by the moon
Short are November's days
But the cruelest day was June's

In October you turned three
Candles lit; but not to blow out
Tearful the words "Happy birthday"
A memorial for thee

Releasing glowing lanterns
Watching them float away
In our hearts, loves memory
Eluminating the heavens
