I lost my moral compass
From the age of 5 and above
I was told not to
lie
cheat
steal
punch
or look at girls underwear
Oh how the times have changed
I'm 20
and I've done almost
all of the above
Except cheat
I do not even feel bad about it
Perhaps I've lost my moral compass
By accident
Or on purpose
It don't matter
At the age of 17
You learn not to give a shit
The world is in chaos
None deny it
Very few defy it
So why not embrace it
Losing my moral compass
was and still is
the best thing ever to happen to me
Like leaving behind a great big burden
Morals; who needs them anyway
I was told not to
lie
cheat
steal
punch
or look at girls underwear
Oh how the times have changed
I'm 20
and I've done almost
all of the above
Except cheat
I do not even feel bad about it
Perhaps I've lost my moral compass
By accident
Or on purpose
It don't matter
At the age of 17
You learn not to give a shit
The world is in chaos
None deny it
Very few defy it
So why not embrace it
Losing my moral compass
was and still is
the best thing ever to happen to me
Like leaving behind a great big burden
Morals; who needs them anyway
