Let's Play A Game Called Trust

Let's play a little game called trust
Not many rules its fairly simple
And no worries about prizes or praise
Only catch is you mustn't lust

Nor cheat, for that matter even think about or even look another person in their eye!

Because you value me whole heartedly, enough to respect me as a woman I trust you wouldn't lie
But pardon me I think I'm losing due to my insecurities

That are draining me daily of my sanity to think you wouldn't even think twice to commit adultery

I think that's a ten point deduction because I know I'm bugging when I lean over your shoulder to see who your texting (Just Mom Again)
*Side note 'how is she doing?'

Even though you deserve points I don't give you credit
But babe I do trust you, I really do!

After I look back down at your cellular device, that was just ringing last night because your ex wanted to apologize for making those mean posts about me

You know what I'll just take my L, I'm just a sore loser to this charade I just can't win!

Tired of playing silly games, because this is definitely not a win win situation

And the thought you with her builds anticipation with me because it's like every time I want to 'trust' you I think of the past
but little do I realize that this is a new chapter and we started over

Resetting every mistake, lie, cheat, and hurt
So let's play another game this time call love
