Heroin my heart (Hero in my heart)

I can see him in the mirror
A reflection questions, "Why are you here?
His touch is like no other, I'll never want another
This man of whom I speak
Is a dangerous venom to me
A hero in my heart too
Is like a drug, poison to you
He calls me Lover,
Calls me friend,
Then he turns on me again
Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde
I can't see who he is inside
He plays head games, I don't understand
Then makes of me high demands
In a prison locked
To my heart toxic shock
He stands guard
Like a Hero in my heart
2 souls tied, in the first world age
Sentenced to life on an empty page
My punishment of his silence
Is my solitary confinement
Tears run down my cheeks, as my heart bleeds
knowing I can never leave
Like Heroin in my heart
My addiction plays a part
He stands guard night and day
He's the hunter, I'm his prey
