TAINTED

Never having good intentions,  made clear by his actions. Frozen by fear, heavy footsteps in the hall. Convincing herself, tonight, she was safe, always wrong.      Agonizingly punishing her for her crimes powered by his own demons. Belly clenching with defeat, a dark shadow creeps closer. Fervently praying they'll pass  quickly by.                              Glinting evilness storming thru coal black eyes. Paralyzing panic racing deep, the door knob softly clicks open. Hope filled, maybe it was her little brother.                                                Heavy excited whispers, vileness swaying in the air. Numb despair seeping in, his knee dipping the bed. Desperately seeking escape, she squeezes her six year old eyes shut.                                           Power and pleasure interwoven in the heavy still air. Tonight, wishing at star's  he'll kill her, her pillow muffles her grunting sobs. Hot breathless tears cascade under the fabric...                           ➰April is the month of Childhood Sexual Abuse Awareness.
