The Fire in my Red Hair

I dyed my hair again
I think I'm a red head in heart
Things would have turned out differently
Had I been a red head to start
It seems the fervor of my soul
Is now on full display
And the world reacts to me differently
Than they did just yesterday
They look more closely into my eyes
And squint like staring into the sun
The fire now seems to be in full view
And there's nothing that can be done
They listen more intently to my voice
They come closer into my space
The confidence slithers off my tongue
And hits them like smoke in the face
They come more willingly into my arms
The cold world makes them long for my clutch
The heat of my passion is evident now
My body is hot to the touch
And my love, oh how the smolder
Has grown into uncontrollable flames
Come wrap yourself inside it boy
I promise you won't leave here the same
It has to be the change on the outside
Because now even women stop and stare
And not a single thing's different inside me
It's just something about that red hair
