The Damned
There's no chance for us,
All our Time slips through our hands.
It's just a glance for us,
And then we're just dust in the sand.
We're the damned in Life,
And we'll die young in our time.
We are full of strife,
With heavy minds we won't survive.
In your Hearts we'll live forever,
In our Dreams some Peace we'll find.
We'll go on inside the Never,
We'll live on so, please, don't cry.
There's many names for us,
They're so vile and unkind.
They bring shame to us,
Shame that's all too easy to find.
It's not who we are,
Just what we found along the way.
And if you trace the scars,
You'll understand it's not our hands
That cause the pain.
We don't want to live forever,
For this life is cold and trite,
We've always lived inside the Never,
Within its grasp this Li(f)e felt right.
There's a place for us,
A place free of this lifes chains.
Where Time's not chasing us,
Where naught but Peace and Bliss remain.
All the sands of Time,
Melt down to glass that breaks away.
The cries that once chimed,
Fade into winds that ride the plains.
We don't want to live forever,
Why lie so long with pain inside?
Maybe we want to feel the Never,
Maybe then we'll feel alive.
All our Time slips through our hands.
It's just a glance for us,
And then we're just dust in the sand.
We're the damned in Life,
And we'll die young in our time.
We are full of strife,
With heavy minds we won't survive.
