I've got rhythm
Yeah, I've got rhythm, I've got rhyme
The schematic schism of a schizophrenic mind
The psychedelic absence of any sense of time
and the social skills of a screaming mime
I've got a madman mumbling down within
with a maniac made to guide his pen
A broke anti-stoic poet choked
within a personal prison universally risen
I've got a paralyzed piece of peace of mind
and a blind beast stalking me from behind
Yeah, I've got rhythm, I've got rhyme
like a black-eyed two-horned cherub's chime
I have fate unknown spittin' from within
and a late poem written for fellow poet HARLEQUIN

Gosh, this is so good. I read it like 4 times.
Started quoting lines, but they're all just so amazing, I'd just be copy/pasting the whole thing! But I particularly love "The schematic schism of a schizophrenic mind" and "Yeah, I've got rhythm, I've got rhyme / like a black-eyed two-horned cherub's chime"
Also, I just so happened to be listening to Aesop Rock while reading this and it really seemed an appropriate fit.

I'm happy that you enjoyed it.. Like I said, I had written a poem for your competition,
and I had left that spiral outside. Foolish me to believe that nature would care.
