Leaving
The wind whispers autumn from tree to tree
As yellow and red somersault through the sky
A grand celebration of color in throng
With kaleidoscope patterns that fly
One last hurrah from the buds of spring
Whose days in the sun have come to an end
As they lay the patchwork for a quilt on the ground
And return to the soil again
As yellow and red somersault through the sky
A grand celebration of color in throng
With kaleidoscope patterns that fly
One last hurrah from the buds of spring
Whose days in the sun have come to an end
As they lay the patchwork for a quilt on the ground
And return to the soil again
