You Hold My Hand
You hold my hand as I fall,
As I crumble and
Pick myself apart to the point
I believe I am nothing.
You hold my hand as I tremble,
As I can not get up off the floor
And my eyes are swollen shut
From downpours of uncontrollable tears.
You hold my hand to help me back up,
And rebuild me piece by piece.
With each kiss on my cheek,
I learn to love myself the way you love me.
You hold my hand and never let go.
For that, I can never thank you enough.
As I crumble and
Pick myself apart to the point
I believe I am nothing.
You hold my hand as I tremble,
As I can not get up off the floor
And my eyes are swollen shut
From downpours of uncontrollable tears.
You hold my hand to help me back up,
And rebuild me piece by piece.
With each kiss on my cheek,
I learn to love myself the way you love me.
You hold my hand and never let go.
For that, I can never thank you enough.
