Decadance

From dust, life came forth,
To dust it shall return again,
Mortal form is destined to rust,
Burn to ash and turn to dust,
Life is like blink of an eye,
All mortals must one day die,
Death brings to us peace,
Blesses us with eternal bliss,
Life is but a momentary presence,
Doomed to meet decadence,
Cosmic truth is difficult to perceive,
An idea beyond mortal minds to conceive,
Good or evil, darkness or light,
No one can escape Death's sight,
Planets will die and fiery stars will become cold,
All that was born someday, are fated to grow old,
Life like flowers will wither one day,
Curtains will fall, putting an end to life's play,
Reaper shall come one day, swinging the scythe,
Reminding us, Death is almighty,
So remember my friend,
Life is but a momentary presence, Doomed to meet decadence.
