Soiled Love

He lay there lonely and broken,
Heart shattered Love lost,
Contemplating on how to recover,
Retrospectively,
He loved her so purely,
Perhaps a bit too much,
A flawed affection,
Hearts in disequilibrium,
He cared too much,
Opened up too much,
Showed off his scars,
Narrated supressed memories,
All of them to her,
She took advantage,
Once, twice and as three times is the charm,
He found out,
Trying not to believe - desperately,
Subtle confrontations on his side,
Defensive excuses on hers,
"Too much baggage she said"
He tries fixing a circle with a corner,
A very twisted corner,
She ends it,
Anger, Sadness, Depression, Love,
All screaming in one moment of silence,
She leaves along with his will to live,
He lays now suffering in solitude,
Venting in silence,
Perhaps she is right... He is too much of a baggage,
For her himself or the world,
Should he rid the baggage?
(The latter being himself)
....
........
Maybe he just might.
