What's going on in my head,
Thoughts swirling around and around
This doesn't feel like my mind,
Where have I gone, where are my feelings
I've left them behind

What is this rage inside of me
Burning into a flame
Where has this anger come from
Will things ever be the same

What is this feeling of despair
That cries out from within
A soul that cries and screams for love
A soul buried within

Where is the warmth of love and hope
The familiar feeling of grace
I can't feel them, where have they gone
My hearts beginning to race
